Seismic Retrofit for Raised Floor Foundation – LADBS

City of Los Angeles has provided structural details through their website for public use. If your house is built with a raised floor foundation and needs to be retrofitted to satisfy the city’s seismic ordinance. You must contact the Department of Building and Safety and see if you can use the following bulletins to obtain a permit without hiring an engineer.
